This was a great experience was able to spend great family time , the house is cozy,, clean and had everything you needed to cook ,Shawn made the booking our trip easy, the kids like being able to set in back porch seeing ducks and all the men loved the fact that you could fish off the back . I’m most definitely will be plan future vacation here. The house is a cozy little place makes you feel at home. The location was perfect not far from the sandy mart and pool walking distance to the beach .

the property was excellent.just needed a few light bulbs replaced.

The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our visit . I liked the idea of a small amount of traffic on the street so location was a plus. our 2 year old grandson was able to ride his "bulldozer" that we had gotten him in the streets without the stress of someone hitting him- his grandfather was driving the bulldozer remotely. The house was beautiful on inside and outside. We enjoyed the deck as well as the view of the canal. the house was in perfect state upon our arrival. linens left in the bathroom beds made and house clean. The only issue that we had was i had asked if kitchen was fully stocked. It did not meet my expectations of "stocked" . The previous house that we had rented for 5 years was a fully stocked kitchen. (variety of different cookware, seasonings for cooking. mixers, one cabinet with only coffee cups( at least 12) and a large supply of dishes and drinking glasses. containers to put left overs in to keep fresh. i was able to sit our total group of 3 families with what she supplied with no issues. I realize that most people enjoy going out and not preparing meals. our family had a sit down dinner two nights at the house with 14 gathering as a family at this house. We only had about 4 plates, a few plastic cups. We actually purchased some plates that were similar to what was in the cabinets and left those in the cupboard because I did not need any dishware at home. I just wish i had been better prepared since we had 3 families together at the campgrounds for the week. i would suggest that you have a broom available to have the ability to sweep up inside...we had 3 ladies in our house and all three agreed there should be a broom.. no matter how hard you try to get all the sand off it comes in and it was gritty on the floor when walking through the house. hopefully you will not take the last part as being critical. that was not the intention. we just wanted to give you insight to our visit and what we would suggest for future families especially larger families to visit your beautiful home.

I hate to leave any negativity on a review because the communication of the owner was absolutely impeccable. The reason for not family friendly is merely due to certain factors. We went as a family 9 adults, one child and one infant 1. Pics make spaces appear larger. 2. The boards on the outside walk and porches are in extreme need of replacing. My adult son stepped on a nail day 2. 3. The kitchen was lacking so much in cooking utensils, pots, pans etc. Barely even 7-8 forks plus the coffee pot leaked. 4. The beds were uncomfortable. All 4 of them. 5. The outdoor furniture was also in need of replacing 6. Just all around needed more attention to detail I truly hate to have to leave this review because the owner was so nice and his communication was amazing. He even rented a golf cart for us because the one that came with the house had been previously damaged. I only want to leave this for families especially with children for awareness.

Will come back again..had a great time ..very clean
